Fees
Rates should be discussed with individual therapists. However, the following list indicates our usual and customary fees:
Service Fees
Individual Counseling (50 minutes) $100
Couples Counseling (50 minutes) $120
Family Counseling (60 minutes) $120
Group Counseling (90 minutes) $50
How to Pay
Payment is due immediately after each session. You may pay by cash, check, or money order (made payable to your therapist). If you are using insurance, co-pays are also due after each session.
Insurance
Each Orange Door therapist accepts third-party payments through different insurance companies. They are as follows:
- José Rodrigo Niño: Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, ComPsych
- Rebecca Hamilton Niño: Not currently accepting third party payments.
- Lee Wichman: Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Magellan, Aetna PPO
Please note: Insurance companies not listed above may still provide some coverage. It is the client’s responsibility to assess what coverage is available if you choose to use insurance. We strongly encourage you to do this prior to beginning therapy. Please see the section “How Does Insurance Work” on our FAQ page for further information.
Cancellation Policy
If you must cancel an appointment, we require a minimum of 24-hours notice. Cancellations made after this time and no-shows will be charged for at the normal rate and will be payable at the next session.
Sliding Scale
Orange Door therapists reserve a few slots in their schedule for clients who need a reduced fee due to financial hardship. Please contact us directly to inquire about this.
